Russian kids with disabilities get forced to evacuate school
The drone hit near the back entrance of the school, breaking windows and injuring two adult staff members who required hospitalization, Slyusar stated on Telegram. He confirmed that 73 children, along with other staff, were safely evacuated.
Slyusar mentioned that Russian forces had deployed electronic warfare measures to counter Ukrainian kamikaze drones in the vicinity. According to the Defense Ministry, 122 fixed-wing Ukrainian drones were intercepted overnight, most of them near the Bryansk border area.
Kiev has increasingly turned to drone attacks as part of its military operations, especially as frontline Russian positions face growing difficulties. Ukrainian officials argue that ongoing drone and missile strikes on Russian territory are essential and have called on Western allies to fund the domestic production of long-range weapons. The country’s military budget, however, continues to struggle under a widening deficit despite foreign financial support.
